Pumpkinlicious – A Treat for Your Dog

It is easy to find treats for you and your family during the holidays, but what about your dog? Below is a recipe for a quick and easy festive pumpkin treat that will have your dog begging for more!

Ingredients

• 1 Large egg
• 1 Cup all-natural unseasoned pumpkin (no pie filling)
• 2 Cups flour (whole wheat is best)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Add the egg and pumpkin together. Mix until smooth.
3. Add flour to the egg and pumpkin mixture. Knead until well blended.
4. Sprinkle flour on counter top and roll out dough.
5. Cut dough into shapes of your choice.
6. Re-roll scraps until all the dough is used.
7. Place onto cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 20 minutes.
9. Let cool completely.

You can store your cookies in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks at room temperature, or freeze them for longer storage life.
